Coach Frank de Boer announced his final 26-man squad for the Euro 2020 from the preliminary squad he announced a couple of weeks ago. The Netherlands will have to do without captain and Liverpool star Virgil van Dijk, who tore his knee ligaments in October. The 29-year-old Van Dijk led the Netherlands to an impressive Euro 2020 result in 2019 and ended their self-inflicted exile from major tournament football.
Barcelona midfielder Frenkie de Jong, as well as Georginio Wijnaldum, who is expected to move to the Camp Nou after his contract at Liverpool expired this season. The Dutch team, who missed Euro 2016 and the 2018 FIFA World Cup, will kick off their Euro 2020 campaign against Ukraine on 13 June in Group C that includes Austria and North Macedonia. Here is Netherlands’ Euro 2020 26-men squad:

Inter Milan’s Christian Eriksen and Borussia Dortmund’s Thomas Delaney also made the cut. Denmark booked their place in the competition by knocking out Ireland in a 1-1 draw.
Denmark were unbeaten in qualifying, winning four of their eight games and just being pipped to first place in Group D by Switzerland. The 1992 Euro Champions have been placed in Group B and will take on Finland in their opening game on June 12. Here is Denmark’s Euro 2020 26-men squad:
